I'm an Ivy League educated, Web 2.0 entrepreneur. As you can tell from my writing, I didn't spend too much time in the classroom. Since I was 18, my time has been focused on embedding psychological and sociological values into web-based product designs and social experiments.
By brief background, I was one of the first persons hired to work on a startup that is now one of the top ten internet destinations in the world. I've also built two fairly large web-based products. One remains in stealth mode while another, which I currently manage, is public with seed funding and over 2,000 beta users (as a conscious decision).
SinsBox and DreamsBox are two early projects that I spent nine months on to test a few of my research ideas. Afterwards, I left both sites alone due to time constraints. If I had more time, I would aggressively market both sites into their respect niches and win sizable traffic and revenue.
I'm selling both assets now because I will not have enough time to stretch out amongst all of my responsibilities going forward. Though, in the few weeks that I spent marketing both sites, I gained considerable attention. For example, DreamsBox was featured in a number of sites, including the globally popular LifeHacker.com. Additionally, both DreamsBox and SinsBox were featured on a New York radio station. When I marketed, DreamsBox and SinsBox reached as high as the mid 100,000 on Alexa.
Since then, I've left both assets completely unattended.

SinsBox allows anonymous postings of secrets and confessions in addition to the submissions of expressional art. Along with browsing and reading other people's posts and artwork, SinsBox offers a unique rating and search system.
SinsBox has a backend that allows a non-technical admin to serve ads, edit texts in systems, delete postings, and define the filtering system. You basically get a non-technical dashboard to control and monitor the platform.

Lets face it, SinsBox is ridiculously addictive. People love the voyeurism of sharing and reading anonymous confessions. You'll notice that there is an anonymous invitation box on the site. This simple functionality actually serves as a driver to a portion of our activities. Folks would confess and then anonymously invite others onto the site to read. By design, those who are invited would read through a lot of the confessions and obsess about which confession was directed towards them. Sooner or later, they may decide to post their own confession and invite others to read as well. This addictive cycle is by design.
There are a number of opportunities with SinsBox. You can build up more retention tools into the site to ensure more addiction. Additionally, you can spin this site into a number of different paths including a dating or an adult venue. You can actually leave the site as it is and just market it. In my search, DreamsBox remains the most orchestrated effort thus far to serve this niche space.
If you market well, your ad revenue and traffic will increase in correlation as you command this niche. Right now, the site serves Google ads but you can create a strategy to sell direct ads from those smaller sites that serve dream interests.
You can also revamp portions of the site to include a few addictive elements such as automated dream interpretations and on-demand (pay-per-view) professional dream reading.
